Whisper Piece, 2023.
I recited a poem written about my newfound transgender friendships. To match the intimacy of the content, I repeated the poem for each attendant by whispering in their ear.

When our electricity swirls
my head does too

like trees touching their love network
shrooms toes in the dirt
